Yolklore is one of the best breakfast spots in STL, (in my humble opinion). The food there is fresh, the eggs are delicious, and the chef-owner, Mary Bogacki is probably the chillest chef I have met, (and my dad who is a chef, and my boyfriend who was a chef are both pretty chill people so I would know)! The creation of the Spotlight for this episode went so smoothly that I was sure I had done something wrong, but it really was that easy. I am always nervous to meet new people, and this project that I am undertaking honestly makes me even more nervous.
That is why I will always recommend a stop into Yolklore, because its the kind of place that your nerves can melt away. The coffee is delicious, the egg sandwiches are to-die-for, and the falafel for lunch is something I dream about on a regular basis. I was so stoked when I was able to talk to Chef Bogacki mostly because I love eating the food there and while there is a small part of me that says I should keep this place I secret, I simply can’t because it is way, way too good!
