So one of the things that I have been really focused on wanting to do as a part of the podcast is I have been wanting to Spotlight local women owned businesses, and I just collected my first soundbite today for a business that I have have gone to dozens of times: Shameless Grounds. This is the only sex positive coffee shop in STL, and it is one of my favorite places to go for a quick latte in the morning, one of their delicious sandwiches in for lunch, or a cocktail in the evening.

The owner, Michelle, was gracious enough to sit down with me and do a quick little introduction to the coffee shop (after some technical difficulties on my side; apparently you should NOT update your computer and not check that all the apps have also updated)! My plan is to plug in these introductions into each episode before I actually get into the meat of which woman I am talking about that day, and I hope that my wonderful listeners will consider stopping by each and every one one of these businesses if you all are ever on your way to St. Louis.

Michelle was the first of many women I plan to talk to, and I was pretty nervous, but it ended up, (after a few hiccups on my part) to be a breeze, and I am so excited to collect the next eleven businesses for this first season!
